Bonus and Promotion Rules

Understanding the general rules

These rules apply to every Charlottetown Casino offer, including the welcome cashback, any offer on the Promotions page and rewards from Charlottetown Rewards and the VIP Club. Individual offers carry additional details, shown to you before you join. Where those details and these rules conflict, the offer details take precedence.

  • Bonus funds are kept apart from your cash balance until you finish the wagering requirement.
  • Bonus funds are only drawn on once your cash balance has been spent.
  • Offers are for personal use only and have no cash value until they are converted.
  • Every promotion is subject to our Terms and Conditions.
  • Players in some provinces can see offers only after they log in, in line with local advertising rules.

Converting bonus funds to cash

When you complete the wagering on a bonus, any remaining bonus money moves to your cash balance and becomes withdrawable.

  • Where an offer has a conversion cap, you will find the cap listed in the details of that offer.
  • When the bonus converts, anything over the stated cap is deducted.
  • The usual minimum withdrawal of C$50 applies to converted funds.

Claiming the welcome offer

Up to C$3,000 Back on First-Day Net Losses

Get as much as C$3,000 returned on net losses incurred during the first 24 hours after you start playing.

  • Cashback up to C$3,000.
  • Covers net losses during the 24 hours after you begin playing.
  • Paid as bonus funds.
  • 1x wagering within 7 days.
  • Minimum deposit C$10.

Net losses means everything you staked in real money over your first 24 hours, less what you won in that same window. No cashback is paid if you end those 24 hours in profit.

Watching expiry dates

  • The welcome cashback stays available for 7 days from the moment we credit it.
  • If the 1x wagering is not complete within those 7 days, the remaining bonus funds expire and are removed.
  • For other promotions, the expiry date is listed in each offer's details.
  • Expired bonuses cannot be restored.

Qualifying to take part

  • Only players who are 19 or older and physically located in Canada may take part.
  • We offer promotions only where local law permits them.
  • Your account must be verified and must have passed our geolocation checks.
  • The welcome cashback is for first-time account holders only, one per person.
  • Promotions are not open to accounts under self-exclusion, taking a cooling-off break or being checked by our team.

Preventing bonus abuse

A bonus, along with any winnings it produces, is voided if we detect any of these:

  • using several accounts, or a shared account, to obtain the same offer repeatedly;
  • coordinated play between players to secure a guaranteed return;
  • placing stakes on opposite outcomes to clear wagering without real risk;
  • going over the stake cap, or using bonus funds on excluded games;
  • depositing and withdrawing in a pattern designed only to collect offers;
  • any breach of our Terms and Conditions.

Where abuse is serious, we can also remove a player from future promotions or close the account.

Opting in

  • Certain offers require you to opt in through the Promotions page or your account before depositing or playing.
  • Offers without an opt-in step apply automatically. The offer details say which kind it is.
  • You can decline an offer, or cancel one before you start wagering it, by emailing [email protected].
  • If you cancel a bonus, it is removed together with any winnings already produced from it.

Keeping to the stake cap on bonus funds

While a bonus is active, each spin, round or hand has a bet ceiling, and you will see the exact amount in the bonus details within your account. Bets above that limit put the bonus at risk of removal, along with every win it produced. When the bonus is converted or has expired, your usual stake limits return.

Holding a single bonus

  • Your account is limited to a single active bonus at any one time.
  • A second offer begins only after the first one converts, expires or is cancelled.
  • Charlottetown Rewards points keep building while a bonus runs, but you can redeem them only once no other bonus is live.

Meeting the wagering

Wagering is how much you must stake using bonus funds for them to turn into cash. A 1x requirement applies to the welcome cashback. So C$100 of cashback calls for C$100 of qualifying stakes within 7 days.

  • Slots marked as eligible count towards wagering.
  • Table games, Live Casino games and Jackpots titles may count for a smaller share, or may not count at all.
  • The contribution of each game type is listed in the bonus details before you play.
  • Stakes on excluded games do not count and may breach the bonus rules.
  • Your progress is updated in your account after each settled round.

Changing promotions

We can amend, pause or withdraw a promotion if the law changes, if we find an error, or if we detect misuse. Bonuses already credited keep the rules that applied when you received them, unless a legal requirement says otherwise. We publish changes on this page and on the Promotions page.
