Avoiding prohibited conduct
The following is not allowed at Charlottetown Casino:
- Opening or running multiple accounts, or playing through an account owned by another person.
- Colluding with other players, sharing hands or arranging outcomes in Live Casino games.
- Using bots, scripts or any other program that places bets or makes decisions for you.
- Exploiting a fault, error or weakness in a game, the site or a promotion.
- Masking where you really are through a VPN, a proxy or a comparable tool.
- Depositing with stolen, borrowed or unauthorised payment details, or making unjustified chargebacks.
- Using your account to move, hide or launder money.
- Abusive or threatening behaviour towards our staff or other players.
If we detect this behaviour, we can void the associated bets and winnings, withhold funds until our investigation ends and close the account. Whenever the law obliges us, we report the matter to the appropriate authorities.
Respecting our intellectual property
We, or the studios supplying our games, own the Charlottetown Casino name and logo, the site design, text, graphics and game software. This material is made available to you solely for your own personal play on our site. Copying, reproducing, framing or reverse engineering it in any way requires our prior written permission.
Changing these terms
These terms are revised whenever legislation, our games or our payment providers change. The current terms are always the text shown here. You will receive an email before any significant change takes effect. If you keep playing after the revised terms go live, they govern your account. If you do not accept a change, stop playing and withdraw your available balance.
Raising a complaint by email
Send any complaint to [email protected]. Please include:
- your username and the email address on your account;
- the date and time the problem occurred;
- the game, payment or promotion involved;
- a short description of what happened and what outcome you are asking for.
We investigate and send our decision to you by email, along with the reasons behind it.
Applying Canadian law
Canadian law governs this agreement, together with the law of your province of residence and play. If our complaint process leaves a dispute unresolved, the competent courts in your place of residence will hear it.
Limiting our liability
- We accept no responsibility for losses arising from internet outages, device faults or any event beyond our reasonable control.
- If someone else logs in with your details because you did not keep them secure, we accept no liability for the resulting losses.
- Whatever the claim, our total liability to you cannot exceed the amount staked in the relevant transaction or game round.
- These limits do not apply where Canadian law does not allow them.
Following game rules
Each title has its own rules, paytable and return information, shown in the game's information panel. Please check them before playing.
- A random number generator determines the outcome of slots, Jackpots and digital table games, so results cannot be predicted or influenced.
- Live Casino rounds are hosted by real dealers and shown on a video stream. Outcomes come from the physical cards, wheel or dice in use at the table.
- If a malfunction occurs, all pays and plays on the affected rounds are void. Stakes placed on a voided round are returned to your balance.
- If a game is interrupted, the game history in your account shows the outcome that was recorded.
Checking your eligibility
- You must be 19 or older (19+).
- You must be physically in Canada while you play.
- Our casino is available only to players in jurisdictions whose laws allow online casino gaming.
- We apply Canadian requirements covering age, identity checks and anti-money laundering, and we may decline or close any account that fails to meet them.
Our Protecting Minors page explains how we keep under-age users away from real-money play.
Using bonuses
Every promotion, including the welcome cashback and offers from Charlottetown Rewards, is subject to our Bonus and Promotion Rules. If those rules and this agreement differ on a bonus matter, the Bonus and Promotion Rules apply.
Registering one account per person
- Each person can open one account only.
- We ask for four things when you sign up: your name in full as it appears on official ID, the day you were born, your current home address and an email address that works. If any of them changes later, go to your account settings and correct it so the information we hold stays accurate.
- Before your first deposit is possible, we verify your identity, age and location. We may also ask for supporting documents at any point.
- We close duplicate accounts. We can also void the winnings and bonuses linked to them.
- Never share your password with anyone, and sign out after each session on a device that others use.
